Runner's Affirmation: I Embody Strength

I embody strength.


I train my body and mind. I do exercises for my muscles and my brain. I visit the gym and the library. I acquire more knowledge and skills. I continue learning about myself and the world around me.


I embrace challenges. I stay strong during difficult times. I possess abundant energy and stamina.


I live mindfully. I do one thing at a time. I make intentional choices that align with my values and goals. I focus on the present moment, instead of dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.


I manage stress. I take care of my health and wellbeing. I eat a healthy diet, exercise regularly, and sleep well. I journal and pray. I calm my mind. I keep things in perspective.


I recover from setbacks. When life knocks me down, I pick myself back up. I am flexible and creative. I learn from experience and keep moving forward.


I build a network of support. I can accomplish more when I cooperate with others. Being part of a community increases my chances for success. I share encouragement and practical assistance.


I allow myself to be vulnerable. I communicate honestly. I apologize when I let someone down. I forgive myself and others.


I act decisively. I meet troubles head on rather than living in denial. I overcome my fears and doubts. I focus on what I have to gain.


Today, I build mental and physical strength. I believe in my potential. I am tough and hopeful.
