Our Goal: We want you to have a fantastic and stress-free experience with SBR Fun Club & Events. These registration policies, terms, and conditions outline our guidelines for registrations, transfers, and deferrals.

Registration Policies Key Points:
No Refunds: We generally do not offer cash refunds.
Registrations Are Transferable & Deferrable: You can transfer your registration to another person, event, race distance or defer it to a future event.
Cash Value Credit: The cash value of your registration can be applied toward a different race distance or future event.
Manage Changes Through RunSignUp: All registration changes are managed through your RunSignUp account.
Flexibility: Enjoy free race transfers, deferrals, and participant transfers up to 3 days before the event.
1. Registration Changes (Transfers & Deferrals)
Deferral (Moving to a Future Event)
Applicable Events: Paid clinics, events, and timed races.
Cost: $0.
Timing: Must be completed at least 3 days before the original event.
Process:
Log in to your RunSignUp account.
Go to Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration.
Select Defer Registration.
You’ll receive an email notification when a similar event becomes available.
Important Notes:
Deferred entries must be used by December 31 of the original event year.
You may defer the same event a maximum of two times.
Check with your personal insurance provider for coverage related to deferred entries.
Transfer (Changing Races or Participants)
Transferring to a Different Race
Cost: $0.
Timing: Must be completed at least 3 days before the original event.
Rules:
The new event must occur within one year of the original event date.
Transfers are not permitted for sold-out events or training programs.
If the new event costs less, no refund will be issued.
If the new event costs more, you will need to pay the difference.
Deferred entries cannot be transferred.
Any race insurance purchased is voided.
Process: Managed through your RunSignUp account.
Changing Distances/Categories Within the Same Event
Cost: $0.
Timing: While general registration remains open.
Rules:
If the new category costs less, no refund will be issued.
If the new category costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference.
Any race insurance purchased is voided.
Process: Managed through your RunSignUp account.
Transferring to Another Person (Same Event Only)
Cost: $0.
Timing: Must be completed at least 3 days before the original event.
Process:
Managed through RunSignUp using the recipient’s email address.
Rules:
The recipient must have a runsignup account.
The recipient will need to accept the transfer before it is finalized.
2. Refunds & Credits
No Cash Refunds (General Policy)
As a non-profit organization, we allocate funds upfront to support our programs and events. Because these resources are committed in advance, we are unable to offer cash refunds.
Event Credits
In the event of a full event cancellation due to an “Act of God” (e.g., major natural disaster), you will receive a full event credit for future use.
If an event is delayed, modified, or canceled due to an unavoidable event outside of SBR's control (such as severe weather or unforeseen venue issues), athletes will receive a full race credit for future use if a make up day is not scheduled.
Credits must be used within two (2) years.
No refunds or credits will be issued for partial cancellations or race modifications.
Registration Protector Insurance
If you purchased Registration Protector Insurance, please refer to their terms and conditions for information on claims and coverage.
3. Right to Refuse Service & Event Cancellation
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual who:
Exhibits disruptive or unsafe behavior.
Violates our rules and regulations.
Fails to meet event requirements.
Engages in discriminatory conduct.
Does not follow event instructions.
Event Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel an event due to low registrations or insufficient support personnel. Our mission is to provide safe, accessible, and affordable events, and we will only proceed if these standards are met.
4. Additional Information
Insurance: General liability insurance is provided for all events.
Fees: All applicable fees are clearly displayed during registration.
RunSignUp Support: For technical issues, contact info@runsignup.com.
Policy Updates: SBR Fun Club & Events reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.
5. Cash Value Credit
The cash value of any registration or service purchased may be applied towards a future SBR Fun Club & Events race or clinic.
Credits have no expiration date.
Credits are non-transferable and must be used by the original registrant.
We designed these registration policies with flexibility in mind, ensuring you have options if plans change.
